Building a Safety Culture that Lasts: Steve Yates

Optimum President, Steve Yates, will be presenting in two sessions to answer the pressing question, “how do we build a safety culture that lasts?”

All across the country, particularly in construction, we hear about workplace safety.  Most organizations want to develop a safety culture, but creating it and maintaining it seems to elude many of them for a variety of reasons. Many don’t understand the consequences of not having one, or the benefits of creating one such as fewer injuries and illnesses, improved morale and productivity. More importantly, many companies don’t know how to create a safety culture. One thing is true, building a culture that will last requires a plan, intention, and company-wide involvement. Come to this interactive and engaging session and discover how world class organizations leverage their resources, integrate safety into their daily activities, and build cultures that engage their workforce.
