OSM Director of Operations Runs Chicago Marathon for Kids With Cancer

On October 9th, Drew Page, Director of Operations at Optimum Safety Management, took place in the Chicago Marathon to raise money to send kids battling cancer to camp.

Team One Step: Run to Send Kids With Cancer to Camp

When Drew made the decision to run the Chicago Marathon, he knew he wanted to use this opportunity to make a difference. After learning about many charitable organizations, Team One Step stood out. This group provides a system of support and training to runners of all levels while raising funds to give kids with cancer a week at camp they will never forget.

Team One Step donates all funds raised to Children’s Oncology Services, an organization that operates many camps dedicated towards providing an environment of empowerment, support and care. This week at camp offers children an opportunity to just have fun without any feelings of social anxiety and isolation resulting from their battle with cancer.

How Can You Get Involved?

While the marathon has already passed, donations are still being accepted. Visit Drew’s personal page at the link below to learn more about his personal motivation for completing this marathon (in just over 4 hours!) and donate. To date, Team One Step has raised over $160,000 and continues to work to make a difference in these kids lives.
